SMITTY SHOOTOUT RULES
(PLEASE REVIEW WITH YOUR TEAM PRIOR TO PLAYING)
FUN IS THE KEY, ANY TEAM OR PLAYER NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE! NO EXCEPTIONS!
- All games will be played to 12 by 1's and 2's or 15 minutes, whichever comes first.
- All brackets will be double elimination.
- All games must be finished within a 15 minute time limit.
- Any game not finished within the 15 minute time limit, team leading will be the winner.
- If a game is tied- first team to score in sudden death will win.
- 10 & Under and 11-12 Year Old Divisions Semi's and Championship games will be played to 12 by 1's and 2's or 15 minute time limit.
- All others - Semi's & Championship games will be played to 12 by 1's and 2's. (NO TIME LIMIT)
- No coaches above the 11-12 year old age group.
- Each player will need one white/light shirt and one dark colored shirt the same color of their teammates.
Change of Possession:
- Every change of possession, the ball must be brought back behind the take back line to start your possession. (Only one foot needs to get behind the line.)
Foul Shots:
You will shoot FT's on shooting fouls only.
- If basket is made you get 1 FT(Make or miss other team gets possession)
- If basket is missed you get 1 FT
- (a) IF FT is made other team gets possession.
- (b) IF FT is missed you will maintain possession.
- If at any time the official feels there is excessive fouling by a team, the other team will shoot FT and maintain possession.(make or miss)
